Program designing plan, development

After the preceding considerations have been taken into account, a test plan is developed to best meet the goals of the program. This might involve one of the standard plans developed by statisticians. Such plans are described in various texts (Table 1) and are considered only briefly here. Sometimes, combinations of plans are encountered, such as a factorial experiment conducted in blocks or a central composite design using a fractional factorial base. 

The design and development are reviewed at regular intervals in accordance with the planned program. 

Without exception, the large suites of quantum chemistry programs have been written by research workers and enthusiasts in quantum chemistry and not by software developers. They have not been through the design, planning and specification routes which are now routine in software development. The interests of these researchers (who were and are their own systems analysts, specification... 

In the initial models stage, product, test programs, software, and associated hardware are designed and developed. Completion is achieved when prototype hardware/software is fabricated and initial evaluation is started. This stage confirms that the initial model results match the initial product specifications. Finally, a ready-for-production checklist is reviewed by the product development team. One of the critical elements of this stage is the development and implementation of design and process platform characterization objectives and plans. 

It should be noted that in other South and East Asia countries with few indigenous fossil fuel and little uranium ore reserves there is the same situation concerning effective nuclear fuel breeding by LMFR. Republic of Korea s LMFR program consists of development, design and construction of a prototype reactor of 150-350 MW(e) power. The first fully-proven reactor is planned to be in operation by 2025. In China, experimental fast reactor CEFR-25 is planned to become critical in 2005.
